My great birthday wish for not flying was not satisfied. But my small wish for cheesecake was.
I have found the first cheesecake in India!
(Goa is not part of India)
I have read about the cafe Mocha Mojo in Chennai on designsucht.de, because of it’s Lego architecture.
It is a bit run down now, but that’s the way it is in India.
When ordering, I felt like in the wrong movie. 6 weeks of unsuccessful search for a cheesecake in India and now this:
Do you have cakes?
Sorry sir, we only have cheesecakes:
cheesecake of the week
cheesecake with raisins
cheesecake with …
The Wi-Fi is like a bet out of hell and ideal for long hours of chilling out.
You can even eavesdrop on conversations. The wealthy Indians speak English among each other. This is probably because of the linguistic diversity in India. Or English signals a high status, like in Bangkok.
It wasn’t cheap.
Cheesecake and Cappuchino Grande cost 281 Rupies or 4,50 EUR. That’s half my daily allowance
You can best reach the Mocha Mojo in Chennai by the Indira Nagar Metro Station. From there it’s about 15 minutes on foot. At the Subway, you have to take the right turn into the 1st Avenue. It’s on the left side there.
No more temples and museums, I will visit designer cafes from now on!

Loipen! Jetzt echt?
Ich schwitz hier bei 30° am Strand…
Erzähl mir doch was vom Weihnachtsmann (-;
Apropos, frohes Fest!
