Okay, okay! In Chiang Mai, I really overdid my temple visits.
But in Northern Thailand’s capital, you really stumble on temples very often. The old town is almost paved with Chedis, Stupas, Ubosots and Viharns.

This brings to my mind a stupid idea:
Can you temple hop your way from one side of the moat to the other?
The world has been waiting for an answer to this question.
Basically yes!
You have to hop pretty far though, namely
- up to 210m in West-East direction
- up to 280m in North-South direction
To get to the river, you have to hop up to 250m.

If you want to try temple hopping theoretically, feel free to play with my Google Earth kml file.
If you want to try temple hopping practically, feel free to contact me. Today, I won’t go to Laos, after all.
But tomorrow for sure (-;
