My trip around the world was mostly in a comfortable pace. Only in India, I had to hurry, because 9 weeks of time for the sub-continent are a bad joke. 3 weeks in Mexico are not only a bad joke, it is madness.

This is not nearly as rad, as a tour of Europe organised by Chinese a la 12 countries in 15 days But it was certainly enough for me.
Don’t do this at home please! Without time pressure, I would have taken 3 weeks just for Yucatan and maybe 2 months for all of Mexico.

Mexico was my makeshift destination, to see a little bit of Latin America before the early end of my world tour. Mexico as an appetizer, as a trial lesson for Latin America.
But Mexico didn’t want to be a makeshift destination and has quickly captured my travel heart:

Schade, dass Du augenscheinlich bald am Ende Deiner Reise bist. Ich bin ja erst vor einigen Wochen auf Deinen Blog gestoßen und habe mich immer über neue Nachrichten und die wunderschönen Aufnahmen gefreut.
Auf jeden Fall wünsche ich Dir eine schöne Rückreise und ein gutes Ankommen in “unserer Welt” – das wird sicher nicht einfach!

Mexiko steht auch schon ganz weit oben auf meiner Liste… Auch wenn ich wohl nicht 2 Monate Zeit haben werde..
Jetzt muss ich deine Weltreise aber mal rückwärts verfolgen ;-)
